What exactly do you do?

You tell us what you want in Barcelona, or just the occasion, and we handle it. We've spent eight years getting to know this city's best venues personally. We pick up the phone, talk to the right people, and come back with a confirmed spot. You just show up.

How do I know what's happening with my request?

You'll get updates via WhatsApp and email at every stage. No guessing, no radio silence:

How fast will I hear back?

Within 2 hours during working hours. Mon–Wed 9:00–18:00, Thu–Sat 12:00–20:00 Barcelona time. Message us at 3am on a Sunday? We'll pick it up Monday morning and you'll have an answer before lunch.

How far in advance should I reach out?

24 hours is ideal. But we handle same-day and last-minute requests regularly. Sometimes the best nights are the unplanned ones. Don't even know where you want to go? Just tell us the occasion and the group size. We'll pick the perfect spot. The earlier you message, the better the table.

Do I pay before or after confirmation?

You pay upfront. That's how we start working immediately. We pick up the phone, call the venue, and work to get you in. If we can't secure your spot, you get a full refund. Every cent, no questions asked. You're never paying for something that didn't happen.

How does the 3-request bundle work?

€120 gets you 3 requests across any category. Dinner Friday, club Saturday, brunch Sunday. Use them however you want within 30 days. Priority handling on all three.

What if I don't use all 3 requests?

They're valid for 30 days from purchase. After that, unused requests expire. No extensions, no transfers. Our advice: book as soon as you have dates. Even rough dates help us start working.

What's your refund policy?

If we can't get you in, you get a full refund immediately. No questions, no hassle. We'll suggest an alternative that's just as good before we go the refund route. Once your reservation is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable. By that point we've made the calls, done the work, and your seat is held.

Can I change my reservation after it's confirmed?

Time changes? Usually yes, if the venue has the slot. Switching to a different venue entirely is a new request. Pro tip: tell us your first choice and a backup when you submit. It gives us more to work with.

Is my payment information safe?

Completely. Everything goes through Stripe. The same payment infrastructure behind Amazon and Google. Your card details never touch our servers. Not even we can see them.

Do you work with companies?

Absolutely. Client entertainment, team offsites, executive travel. With monthly invoicing, reporting, and a direct channel to our team. Email B2B@velares.com and we'll have a tailored proposal in your inbox within 24 hours.

Anything I should know before I go?

Three things: arrive on time (venues hold tables for 15 minutes max), dress appropriately (Barcelona venues care about this), and if you're not sure about anything, just ask us. The venue always has final say on entry and seating, but we'll make sure you show up prepared.

1. Service Description
Velares is a personal concierge and access service based in Barcelona, operated by Franco. We act as an intermediary between clients and venues, securing reservations, guest list entries, VIP tables, and access to private spaces and local experiences across Barcelona.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed once Velares notifies you via email or WhatsApp. Confirmation is subject to venue availability. We aim to respond within 2 hours of receiving your request. All confirmed reservations are subject to the individual terms and conditions of each venue.
3. Payment
Payment is due upon confirmation or at checkout if you choose priority handling. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Velares charges a service fee of €50 per request or €120 for a 3-request bundle. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Once a reservation has been confirmed by Velares, the service fee is non-refundable. Velares invests significant time and personal relationships to secure your booking. If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must do so directly with the venue according to their cancellation policy. Velares is not responsible for any cancellation fees charged by the venue. If Velares is unable to fulfil your request, a full refund will be issued immediately.
5. Changes to Reservations
Changing your reservation to a different venue constitutes a new request and requires an additional service fee. Time changes to existing reservations are possible only subject to venue availability. Velares will make every effort to accommodate time change requests but cannot guarantee them.
6. Venue Terms & Conduct
All clients must comply with the individual terms and conditions of each venue. Venues reserve the right to refuse entry at their discretion, including but not limited to: guests who are visibly intoxicated, guests who do not meet dress code requirements, and guests who arrive after the venue's maximum waiting time (typically 15 minutes). Velares strongly recommends arriving on time and presenting yourself appropriately. The final decision on entry and seating always rests with the venue.
7. Liability
Velares acts as an intermediary service only. We are not responsible for the quality, safety or conduct of any venue, nor for any injury, loss, or damage occurring at a venue. Velares is not responsible for personal belongings left at any venue. Our liability is limited to the service fee paid.

The data controller for your personal data is Velares, operated by Franco, based in Barcelona, Spain. Contact: hello@velares.com
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to fulfil your reservation request: full name, email address, phone number (optional), and request details (date, venue preference, party size). For B2B clients, we also collect company name, job title, and business needs.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to: (a) process and fulfil your reservation request; (b) communicate with you via email or WhatsApp; (c) send payment links via Stripe; (d) maintain a record of your booking history for service continuity. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing
We share only the minimum necessary information with venues to confirm your reservation (typically: name and party size). We never sell your data. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the service and comply with legal obligations, typically 3 years for accounting records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@velares.com.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); object to processing; request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@velares.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD).
7. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools. The only external services used are Google Fonts (font loading), Formspree (form submission), and Stripe (payment processing), each with their own privacy policies.
8. Security
All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
